The first two days of a four day trip to Germany 'for my birthday drink' courtesy of Roger Morris, ably assisted by Steve McNally. I've thrown Day 2 in with Day 1, as I was only able to take about a dozen photos on the first day, the itinerary of which was: Fareham-Waterloo, St Pancras International-Brussel Zuid-Liege Guillemins-Aachen Hbf-Köln Hbf-Köln Messe/Deutz. Staying in a hotel a tramride and a short walk from the latter station. Day 2 was spent at Köln West; we did venture to Köln Hbf, then back to Köln Messe/Deutz, but it was too dark to take photos by then. Lots of locos and freight at Köln West!
